Clueless parents
Much like any job parenting is sometimes done by people who are completely clueless.
Such parents can neglect their kids or subject them to violence and sexual or emotional abuse. These situations can be made worse if the parents are drunk or use drugs.
When parents act like this it’s important to get professional help. There’s no point in waiting for these kinds of parents to stop abusing as this rarely happens, if ever.
It can help to talk things over with a mate or another relative who you trust. There are also a number of helplines available.
